Now in its tenth year, the Arts Palace was originally created by a group of parents who wanted their children to experience hands-on art opportunities in a classroom setting. From its inception, the Arts Palace has grown into a full program of camps, classes, and workshops scheduled on a quarterly basis, which offer a wide variety of art medium to students of all ages. Instructors are some of the area’s finest artists and teachers, providing students with skilled direction. Many students return quarter after quarter to continue developing their artistic abilities. The Arts Palace presents more than just art classes. These are life-enriching experiences in the arts that provide students of all ages, from pre-school to adults, a chance to develop existing talents or uncover new ones.

If you would like to be placed on our Arts Palace mailing list, please contact the Palace box office, (740) 383-2101 or e-mail artspalace@marionpalace.org. Mailings are sent on a quarterly basis and include a description of offered courses and an enrollment form. Partial and full scholarships are available through monies provided by Marion Community Foundation  and are awarded through an application process. Application forms are available at the theatre, 276 West Center St. in downtown Marion. The Arts Palace is also looking for new and innovative ideas for camps, classes and workshops. If you have a suggestion or would like to join our staff of paid instructors, you may also contact the box office, (740) 383-2101. Lisa Brammer serves as Arts Palace Coordinator.
