The third annual Celebrate Marion Gala has no shortage of worthy honorees.  On June 1, the Celebrate Marion show will feature headline entertainment, while honoring 22 people, places, products, and programs for their unique contributions to the culture of Marion, Ohio.  The featured entertainment includes Ryan Ratliff, whose undeniable talent and magnetic personality have won the affection of audiences across the country—and many of his biggest fans are right here in Marion.

Ryan will return to the Palace stage alongside other MarionMade! talent – drummer Dave Johnston, guitarist John Mullins, and bass player Dan Erickson. Other Celebrate Marion performers include dancer Mally Reber, Marion City Schools choir director Ann Schertzer and a selection of her talented students from Grant Middle School, and the ever-popular Marion Concert Band.

The people honored during Celebrate Marion are recognized in three categories, Philanthropists, People from Our Past, and People of Our Present.  Additionally, Places, Products, and Programs unique to Marion will be recognized. The show weaves the awards and entertainment in an Academy Awards-style show filled with skits and videos that demonstrate the talent and vibrancy of Marion, Ohio.
