We need a little music; a little dance; a little laughter…We Need a Little Christmas!

Appropriately themed, “We Need A Little Christmas,” CHRISTMAS AT THE PALACE gives theatre-goers reasons to celebrate the joy of the season. From scenes of child-like wonder of the North Pole to the miracle of the manger and beyond, community members of all ages will share their talents to lift our spirits. Written and directed by Clare Cooke, the variety show resumes to a healthy full cast size of 270 performers. (Last season the cast was limited due to COVID.)

A LITTLE MUSIC: Beautiful sounds of the season will fill the auditorium thanks to ten gifted orchestra members led by Mr. Rick Baird — Parker Baird, Beth Cumbie, Dee Ehrman, Jacob Hartman, Kathy Hill, David Johnston, Yuji Jones, Sara Konvalinka, Steve Patterson, and Bill Swihart. Vocal numbers include performances by The Drama Mamas, The Dialtones, and The Marionaires. And don’t miss the must-see piano duet with Kathy & Dee, “Sleigh Ride Fantasy!“

A LITTLE DANCE: Dancers provide a visual feast for the eyes in the holiday show. In addition to the beloved Men’s and Ladies’ Tap Lines, four local dance companies will share their talents — DiverseMoves Dance Studio, Martha Douce Dance Studio, Center Stage Dance Factory, and PHS Spartans In Motion Dance Team.

A LITTLE LAUGHTER: Audience members enjoy the antics of North Pole residents Santa (Bruce Cudd), Mrs. Claus (Sharon Gale), Sassy the Elf (Julia Vanderhoff), Sparkle the Elf (Sara Grote), and UPS Man (Dustin Rawlins) along with the newest addition to the comedy team, Buddy the Elf (Brady Wink).
