The sequel to 2016’s animated hit continues with the story of Max and his pet friends, following their secret lives after their owners leave them for work or school each day. “Secret Life of Pets 2” is rated PG for some action and rude humor. Running time is 1 hour, 26 minutes.

Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Storad Label, and the Autism Society of Central Ohio have partnered with the Palace Theatre to offer a Sensory Friendly movie-going experience on Saturday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. This special showing is open to any child, teen, and adult with special challenges and their friends and family. The sensory friendly movie will include brighter theatre lights than normal and the sound will be turned down. The audience will have the ability to get up, move and make noise during the movie. Storad Label pledged to cover the admission price for the first 50 people, while the Autism Society of Central Ohio will provide free popcorn and drinks to the first 25 people in attendance.

During all movies, concessions are available and are reasonably priced. Items available for purchase include candy bars for $1 and 20 oz. Pepsi products, popcorn, and boxed theatre candy for $2 each. Admission prices are $4 for all ages and $2 for current 2018-2019 PCAA members presenting a valid membership card.
