Are you ready to dive under the sea and bring the enchanting world of Disney's "The Little Mermaid" to life? The Marion Palace Theatre is calling all aspiring actors and performers aged 12 and up to audition for our upcoming production directed by the renowned Clare Cooke. This is your chance to shine on the main stage in one of the most beloved musicals of all time!


Audition Details:

- Date: Saturday, May 18, 2024

- Time: 1:00 PM

- Location: Palace Main Stage, 276 W Center St, Marion

Prepare a one-minute solo to perform (sheet music required; no CDs), and if you're aiming for a speaking role, be ready to read from the script. This is an incredible opportunity to work under Clare Cooke’s expert direction and to be part of a production known for its vibrant characters and breathtaking visuals.


Roles to Cast:

- Ariel: The adventurous mermaid princess who dreams of the world above.

- Prince Eric: The charming prince who captures Ariel’s heart.

- Sebastian: The protective crab who is always looking out for Ariel.

- Ursula: The sea witch with plans to rule the ocean.

- Other roles include Flounder, King Triton, the Mersisters, and more ensemble parts like sailors, gulls, and palace staff.
