Behind the Scenes of Disney's The Little Mermaid

Morgan Schwartz

As we gear up for the magical production of Disney's"The Little Mermaid" at the Marion Palace Theatre, excitement is building and the anticipation is palpable. Our cast and crew are hard at work to bring this beloved story to life, and we can't wait to share it with you.

Rehearsals are going incredibly well, with our talented cast putting in the hard work needed to perfect their performances. One of the unique aspects of this production is that some of our characters will be on wheels, learning to skate to enhance the "under the sea" effect. This adds a dynamic and visually stunning element to the show that audiences will surely love.

The arrival of costumes and set pieces is another exciting milestone. These elements are crucial in creating the enchanting underwater world of Ariel and her friends. Every costume and set piece contributes to the overall magic of the production.

Our entire cast and crew, under the expert direction of Clare Cooke, are dedicated to bringing this enchanting story to life in the most magical way possible. The cast has been working tirelessly, embracing the challenge of performing on wheels and perfecting their roles to deliver a performance that will captivate audiences of all ages.
