All Aboard – July 2019
As our 90th anniversary season is rolling to a halt, we excitedly issue the call “All aboard” for a new season. The Music Man has pulled into the station at River City Junction to take the Palace stage as our 2019-20 summer musical and season opener.
We’ve heard from so many of you how thrilled you are for the new season line up. We love hearing your enthusiasm for the shows and educational opportunities we have planned for you. It’s an exciting season, for sure!
And if you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, last month we released our 2019-20 season line up. If you didn’t receive a brochure and you haven’t heard about all the great shows we have planned for you, please visit the Palace website at www.marionpalace.org. Once you get to our site, click the “Discover” tab, scroll down to “Virtual Applause Newsletter,” and click. There you’ll find the link to our new season brochure that has all the details for an outstanding season. If you prefer a hard copy of the brochure, you may choose to call the box office (740) 383-2101.
I also want to take this opportunity to encourage you to become a member of the Palace Cultural Arts Association or, if you’re currently a member, to renew your membership. You’ll find the membership information in the online brochure right inside the front cover. You can also become a member or renew a current membership through the website. Click on the “Support” tab and scroll down to “Become a PCAA Member.” Your support makes all the difference.
Speaking of making a difference – we’re grateful to Ron Cramer, Trustee of the Ray and Charlotte Baldauf Charitable Trust, for agreeing again this year to match any new or increased membership donations up to a combined total of $15,000. This means your contribution (of new monies) is doubled. How exciting is that?!? A strong membership drive means a strong foundation for this organization.
And a strong foundation means bigger and better things at the Palace, and that’s what we’re working toward. For you. For your kids and grand kids. For this community and the region at large. We are leaning in to the expansion of downtown Marion and doing what we can to enhance this community, making it an even better place to live, work, and play.
