PALACE ACADEMY OF THE ARTS CAMPS & CLASSES
SET THE STAGE SUMMER CAMP IS BACK! JULY 2021
Designed for ages 7 to 15 years, Set the Stage Theatre Camp is a 5-day camp experience to give campers the opportunity to develop their performance skills, express their creativity, and have fun while making new friends.
This summer, students will have a blast channel surfing at CAMP TV! Each day will focus on a different well known tv genre. Students and instructors are encouraged to come dressed as favorite characters or stars according to the theme of the day. The fun kicks off on Monday with music and scripts from NICKELODEON & DISNEY. Tuesday’s classes will draw inspiration from ESPN. Wednesday’s theme is centered around CARTOON NETWORK. On Thursday students will dive into the classics from TV LAND. Parents and guests are invited to attend the final group performance on Friday afternoon. Admission will not be charged for this event.
Camps will be led by theatre veterans and instructors Kristi Wink and Emily Yaksic. Students will meet daily from 9am to 12noon. Camp fees for all ages are $85 and includes a camp t-shirt! Camp size may be limited to comply with Ohio safety guidelines. Please enroll your student early to ensure a spot. Registrations can be made online at marionpalace.org or by printing and mailing the registration form to Marion Palace Theatre, 276 W Center St., Marion, Ohio 43302.
