“CHRISTMAS AT THE PALACE” returns to the stage December 3, 4, 5, and 6. In preparation for the annual production, writer/director Clare Cooke is seeking talented community members to perform in the show. This year we invite children ages 6-9; youth ages 10-14; adult chorus members; adult soloists; dance soloists; dance groups of up to 10 performers; and instrumental soloists or groups to audition for what has become a favorite Marion tradition.

CHRISTMAS AT THE PALACE CLOSED AUDITION DATE:
All auditions are by appointment on Sunday, October 18, 2020, beginning at 1:00pm
Sign up as follows:
Children ages 6-9 – 1:00-1:10pm (10 children)
Children ages 6-9 – 1:15-1:25pm (10 children)
Youth ages 10-14 – 1:30-1:40pm (10 youth)
Youth ages 10-14 – 1:45-1:55pm (10 youth)
Adult chorus ages 15 & older – 2:00-2:10pm (10 adults)
Adult chorus ages 15 & older – 2:15-2:25pm (10 adults)
Adult chorus ages 15 & older – 2:30-2:40pm (10 adults)
Adult Solo ages 15 & older – 2:45-4:00pm (every 5 minutes)
Dance Solo – 4:05-4:15pm (every 5 minutes)
Dance Group (no more than 10 dancers) – 4:20-4:30pm
Dance Group (no more than 10 dancers) – 4:35-4:45pm
Instrumental solo or group (no more than 10) – 4:50-5:00pm
Instrumental solo or group (no more than 10) – 5:05-5:15pm

An accompanist will be provided for vocal auditions. CD’s are permitted.

CLOSED AUDITION DETAILS:
All auditioners will need to sign-up for an audition time slot by leaving a message at 740-383-2101 or emailing tickets@marionpalace.org. We will answer calls and emails in the order they are received. Once your audition time is scheduled, we will email you an audition form. You MUST bring your completed form with you to auditions. We will NOT have additional audition forms available on October 18. Due to current restrictions, we regret that no auditioner will be permitted into the building without an appointment.

As detailed above, auditions are on a very tight schedule. Please arrive on time, allowing an extra minute or two prior to your scheduled audition for check in. Please enter through the back stage door located off the north parking lot. One (1) parent/guardian will be allowed into the building with children under 18. Each group of 10 auditioners (and parents) will proceed to the Pavilion. Parents/guardians will be asked to wait in the Pavilion while their child auditions.
