Improv in the May Series featuring Shovel City Improv Group

Back for a second season is Marion’s own improv troupe, Shovel City Improv. Taking the stage three times for the return of Improv in the May, shows are slated for Saturday, October 12; Friday, January 10; and Friday, May 15. Think you’ve seen it all? No way! These crazy hometown comedians keep it fresh with new sketches each performance that YOU help create. So bring your imaginations and bring your friends to laugh the night away with Shovel City Improv.

Taking the phrase “audience participation” to a whole new level, members of the audience suggest random ideas for the games and skits that seasoned stage actors perform on the spot. Nothing is scripted, so it becomes a night of hilarious and unpredictable fun! The rotational pool of actors from Shovel City Improv includes Daniel Bradshaw, Kim Bradshaw, Mike Cochran, Bruce Cudd, Diana Dailey, Hannah Fuller,  Justen LaPlante, Eric Mosley, and Emily Yaksic. Mark your calendar-you don’t wanna miss the fun! This event is recommended for ages 16 and older.
