For nearly 40 years, Marion native Kristi Wink has found her place in the performing arts. At the age of 11, her role as Pigtails in Oklahoma! cemented her love for the stage. Studying at The Ohio State University to earn her BFA degree in acting, Kristi’s path included a reign as Miss Ohio in 1991. Representing our state, she traveled at home and abroad with a “Support for Youth in the Performing Arts” platform. Making her way in NYC, Kristi’s experiences include television commercials, soap operas, runway modeling, and her dream come true – a role in the Broadway production of The Will Rogers Follies. In 2006, Kristi followed her heart back to Marion. Since then, she has invested her time and her talent in developing students of the performing arts through involvement with local schools and Palace productions, as well as her own acting studio.Private sessions with Kristi Wink open a world of possibilities and great opportunities for growth and development. Whether a student headed to college interviews, an adult preparing to land a new position, thespians hoping to make it on Broadway, or someone preparing for a pageant, these ONE-ON-ONE sessions are for you! Kristi will work with you individually to help you put your best foot forward…no matter what “stage” you’re headed for! Private Sessions with Kristi are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. PALACE ACADEMY VOCAL INSTRUCTOR – JAMI RAWLINS

Jami Rawlins is a 2001 graduate of Elgin High School and The Ohio State University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with an emphasis in voice. At Harding High School, Jami works as the Director of Choirs, Singers, and Singers Xtreme and as the director of the high school musicals. She also serves as the District Music Coordinator for grades 6-12. In her teaching career, she has taught elementary music as well as high school music, which has enhanced her belief in the importance of music education for grades K-12. In her free time, Jami serves as an adjudicator and clinician, as well as taking her ensembles across the state. She is proud to have multiple students from her program accepted to the OMEA All State Choir year after year. As a performer, Jami continues to perform at different venues locally and statewide. Mrs. Rawlins has performed in numerous musicals and opera scenes throughout her career. Jami has taught private voice for the past 16 years. Private Sessions with Jami are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Chelsea was born and raised in Marion where she first began dancing and creating at a young age, choreographing to the music of her favorite boy bands. Growing up dancing, cheerleading and performing on the Palace stage eventually led her to continue pursuing her passion in college where she danced on the Capital University Dance Team and was a dancer and Assistant Squad Leader for the Columbus Crewzers, the Professional Dance Team for the Columbus Crew soccer team. Chelsea has since returned to Marion and her high school Alma mater where she is the Varsity Coach of the Pleasant Spartan Dance Team, choreographer for Spartans in Motion Show Choir and spring musicals, and dance instructor for the Pleasant elementary Tiny Dancers that now has over 65 students! Chelsea’s passion is to continue fulfilling the need of dance education. Chelsea specializes in musical theatre styles, jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, contemporary/lyrical, ballroom and more. Her sessions will assist with dance auditions, pageant talent preparation, technique development for college dance teams, and more. Couple’s dance is available in a ballroom session for first dances, father/daughter, and mother/son dances. Special pricing for couple’s dance sessions is $55 for 30 minutes. Private Sessions with Chelsea are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Tuesday & Friday Afternoons – call for available time slots

Terri is excited to continue her teaching career at the Palace Academy of the Arts. A graduate of Westminster College with a Master’s Degree from Ashland University, Terri taught Elementary Music for eighteen years with the Marion City Schools and twelve years with the Tiffin City Schools where she taught Middle School Music Appreciation, directed two choirs and served as piano accompanist for the award-winning Tiffin High School Choir. She currently serves as piano accompanist for the “Seniors in Song” choir at the Marion Senior Center where she also serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors.
